Software-Service John was established in November 1993 in Ilmenau. The business manager of the company is Dipl.-Ing. Dirk-Hendrik John. The services include the development of software-interfaces for an error- and loss-free data transfer between various CAD- and GIS-systems in the range of geodesy as well as distribution and support of software from partner firms.

We built on this basis over the years. Because of the development of software like “SQD-Kontrolle” (for error analysis of SQD-data) and “VIS-All 3D” (with GIS-functionality for visualizing 3D data) the firm now also offers programs and services for special applications. A team of 10 staff members with technical degrees and work experience in the fields of geodesy, construction engineering and computer science is especially concentrated on a extensive consultation and support in order to react quickly to the specific requirements of the customer. The development of suggested solutions and the search for optimization possibilities is the main part of our services. The partners and customers of Software-Service John are mainly surveyor’s offices, State Survey Office, public utility companies, software providers for geodesists and others. Solid relations to partner companies exist in order to work out solutions for multidisciplinary and extensive orders.
